Not a rebuild.

A reset.

This is a focused service for existing websites that feel dated, confusing or visually inconsistent, without necessarily needing a full rebuild.

I rework the structure, presentation and visual rhythm so the site feels more coherent, more resolved and easier to move through.

Refresh projects start at around £650, depending on the scope of the work.

Typical timeline: 1 to 2 weeks.

Review

I assess the current site to identify what is letting it down. Often this comes down to structure, hierarchy, spacing, image use or a lack of overall direction.

Restructuring

Pages, sections and navigation are simplified where needed so the site reads more clearly and the work is easier to understand at a glance.

Visual clean-up

Typography, spacing, button styles and image presentation are refined so the site feels calmer, stronger and more resolved.

Updates on the existing platform

This service suits simpler existing websites best, especially those built on Squarespace or Weebly, where focused improvements can make a real difference.

Image handling

Existing images can be reworked, reordered and prepared differently so they perform better online, load more efficiently and support the overall presentation.

Targeted improvements

The aim is not to make endless small edits, but to make a smaller number of clear decisions that visibly strengthen the site.

What a refresh can include

It depends on the site, but the work usually focuses on what can make the biggest difference quickly, without turning the project into a full rebuild.

01

Homepage rethink

Reworking the opening message, hierarchy and page flow so people understand much more quickly what you do.

02

Navigation simplification

Simplifying menus and page labels to make the site feel more intuitive and less scattered.

03

Typography and spacing

Adjusting rhythm, spacing and typography so the site feels more intentional, more balanced and easier to read.

04

Image presentation

Improving image selection, cropping, ordering and display so images support the work with more clarity.

05

Key page adjustments

Updating important pages such as About, Services or Contact when the text or structure is currently weakening the site.

06

Platform review

Looking at what your current platform can genuinely support, and whether a refresh is the right approach or a rebuild would make more sense.

Frequently asked questions

No. A refresh like this is more focused than a full redesign. It improves what already exists, without rebuilding everything from the beginning.
It suits people who already have a site online, but feel it lacks clarity, looks dated or is not working as well as it should, without yet wanting to invest in a fully bespoke website.
Simpler platforms such as Squarespace or Weebly are usually the best fit. For WordPress or more complex sites, I prefer to review the current setup first before advising on the best route.
Often quite a lot. Better structure, clearer hierarchy and more disciplined presentation can change how the site is perceived, even without rebuilding everything.
If the site has deeper structural problems, real technical limitations or no longer meets your needs at all, a bespoke rebuild is likely to be a better investment.
A link to the current site, along with a short note explaining what feels off or what you want to improve. Access can be requested afterwards, depending on the platform.
